Princess is a World of Warcraft auction-house analytics site. We keep data collection to the minimum the service needs.

What we store

• Account data — if you sign in, authentication is handled by Clerk. We store your account identifier, e-mail, display name and subscription tier.
• Your saved items — Treasure Chest lists, price criteria and notification preferences, linked to your account.
• Discord connection — if you link Discord for price alerts we store your Discord user ID and username so our bot can message you. Unlink at any time from your profile.
• Anonymous usage counters — daily visit counts using a one-way hash of your IP address. We never store raw IP addresses, and counters reset daily.

Cookies & local storage

• Authentication cookies (Clerk) — keep you signed in. Essential.
• Local storage — remembers your realm, theme and view preferences on your own device. Never leaves your browser.
• Advertising — we use Google AdSense. In the EEA/UK you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookies are used, via Google's certified consent tool. Paying subscribers see no ads and load no advertising scripts at all. See how Google uses data.

Advertising cookies in detail

Google AdSense requires that we spell the following out, and it is worth knowing regardless of who requires it:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to Princess and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time in Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
• Opting out does not remove ads — it means the ads you see are no longer based on your browsing. And if you subscribe, there are no ad scripts on the page at all.

Third parties we rely on

Clerk (sign-in), Google AdSense (advertising), Cloudflare (network/security), Discord (optional alerts). Game data comes from the official Blizzard Entertainment API; no personal data is sent to Blizzard.

Your choices

• Use the site without an account — nothing is stored about you beyond the anonymous counters above.
• Withdraw ad consent any time via the consent banner ("Manage options").
