The auction house refreshes about once an hour. Nobody should be sitting there refreshing with it.

How alerts reach you

Alerts arrive on Discord. Link your account from your profile and the bot messages you directly; alternatively you can supply a webhook and the messages go to a channel of your choosing.

Each message names the item, the best matching price, which realm has it and how many other realms also matched, followed by a link back to your chest where the copy-ready search strings live.

Choose what you are told about

The start option is worth understanding: it fires the moment fresh data begins arriving, before collection finishes. It is a heads-up for people who want to be first to a listing, and the chest summary still follows when the picture is complete.

Repetition is suppressed on purpose

If your chest has not changed since the last wave and you have not asked for the wave line itself, no message is sent. The same list arriving every hour is not a service, it is noise — and noise is how alerts stop being read.

A quiet hour means nothing new matched, not that something is broken.

Timing, briefly

Europe publishes as one block and the Americas trickle in over several minutes, which changes what “fresh” means in each region. The update timing guide covers it, measured across every realm.

In practice an alert reaches you within a minute or so of the data landing, and the listing it names is as new as anything you could have found by refreshing manually.
